Each travel is a great source of inspiration… and this is the result after travelling through Puglia, a beautiful region in the South of Italy. Summer memories is a really easy Decorative Painting design painted with acrylics on canvas.
It was published on the Pixelated Palette E-zine (June 2018). The techniques that you can learn are mainly floating, but also the textured background is done with a very interesting and fun technique.

The surface I used is a canvas, but you can pain this design also on wood or tin. Actually you could also paint it on fabric, but in this case without the textured background because it would be difficult to do.
