It’s never to early to paint for Christmas! In fact, “Mr Chilly Mittens” is a Decorative Painting design I taught for US students in May 2021… just to chill out the atmosphere 😊
It was really a fun class and all studends were very happy to try the standard Decorative Painting techniques, but on a complete different surface.
Mr Chilly Mittens is painted with acrylics on canvas, but it can be easily adapted also to other surfaces. You can practice different techniques in this project: floating, stippling, how to create a texture background and how to paint on canvas.
