“Winter Pockets” is a Decorative Painting design that was published on the Ornamend issue of Painting World Magazine (October 2021) and I designed it thinking about beginner painters.
It’s painted on wooden ovals that could be great as an ornament for your Christmas tree or for a present.
Yes, because either if you are looking for a present or for a decoration for your home, there’s nothing better than something handmade!
You can learn so many different Decorative Painting techniques in Winter Pockets: floating, dry brushing, lining for details ad much more! And if you like ornament sets, have a look at Friends on Paper, Ornament Friends or Santa Sweetie Frosty.
If you want to learn something more about Decorative Painting I used, check out some tutorials on my YouTube channel: what is a pattern packet or what are the basic things to have when approaching Decorative Painting.
The surface I used are 3 wooden circles, however you can adapt this design to other surfaces or material. They would be wonderful on sled cutouts for example!
So, do you also want to paint your own project??? You can find the packet with complete step by step instructions and linedrawings at the SHOP section!
